Frequently asked questions
Do you photograph weddings outside Gibraltar?
Yes, I regularly shoot weddings througout the Costa del Sol, and I am happy to travel anywhere. Depending on the location, travel and / or accommodation fees may apply.
Do you do formal group shots?
Yes, I actually think they can be quite important. If you don't want to do any, then of course that's fine, but the best thing to do is for us to have a chat about them at your pre wedding meeting so we fit them in with your timings & make sure they work with the documentary coverage of your day. I like to do them quickly & smoothly, so you can get back to your guests. I bring a few copys of the group shot list we've agreed to on your wedding day & often hand one to an usher or bridesmaid so thy can get the next group ready for me. That way we can get through the groups in a fun & efficient way with everyone enjoying them.
How do we book you?
Once you are happy to proceed with us as your wedding photographer, We will send you a booking form. On receipt of the signed booking form, and paid booking fee ( Online digital process these days ), your wedding date will be firmly booked.
I /we hate being photographed...
Not technically a question, but something I come across a lot. It's a completely reasonable thing to feel. I shoot in a very easygoing way and aim to make it fun and relaxed for you. Only photos where you are looking your best will make the final cut.
Will we meet you before our wedding day?
I always prefer to meet a couple before the Wedding date, owing to the nature of Weddings in Gibraltar a great deal of couples do not arrive until the day before the Wedding leaving them little time to do more than the legal formalities. However I always arrive at the venue early giving me time to introduce myself to you and family members.
Do we have to pay a deposit?
I ask for a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your wedding photography, payable when you agree on your wedding date. This fee is non-refundable as i will most likeley be unable to take another booking on that day in the event of your cancellation.
How do we get to see our images?
We aim to have your wedding images uploaded to a secure password protected area of our website within six weeks of your big day, but at busy times of the year this can be longer. Go to our website, enter your link and browse your gallry - it's that simple. We sometimes select a few images for our blog as an appetiser.
Will the images be edited before presentation?
All images are individually assessed for colour and tone, and edited appropriatley. Blemishes and distractions are then taken care of before presentation. If albums are ordered, a little more editing will go into the selected images.
Is there an extra charge for this service?
No. All reasonable editing is carried out on a complimentry basis. Note however that digital manipulation, which is very different from editing, will come at an additional charge.
Will we receive the high resolution images?
All packages come complete with a download link for the high resolution images.
Can we print the photos?
Yes, of course, once you recive your photos you are welcome to use them as you wish for any personal use including printing, social media etc etc.
Who owns the copyright of the photographs?
Under The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, it is the photographer who will own copyright on any photos he/she has taken.
How many photos can we expect to receive?
From a full days coverage I will generally deliver 400 or more. I don't put a exact number on it so i can deliver all the best photos from your wedding day whether it's 400, 450 or 500 or very occasionally more. I always give you the best shots from your special day.
